12 things about me

jenncrop.JPG

  • My husband and I met on Yahoo Personals and were married 8 months later.
  • I love buying scrapbook & stamp supplies and even though I have more than I know what to do with, I still buy more.  It’s a habit.
  • Fish scare me.  I hate all seafood and it gives me the willies to see fish alive or dead.
  • I love to sing and was in several choirs growing up, but never pursued a musical theater career because I am afraid of auditioning.
  • I am obsessive about Q-tips and use at least 3 a day.
  • I have an orchid candle I bought from Pottery Barn about 5 years ago that I love and rarely light because the scent has been discontinued.  I am on a mission to find one that smells the same.  It is heavenly and has only about 2 uses left and that makes me sad.
  • I make a mean Spinach Artichoke Dip.  Just ask Julie.
  • I was on the Family Feud 4 times when I was 17.
  • I never experimented with drugs.  Not one joint… ever.
  • Two years ago, we dropped everything, went to AAA to pick up mapbooks, and drove cross country and back in two weeks covering 22 states.
  • I love Annie and Chorus Line equally and love to sing the entire soundtrack at the top of my lungs while I’m driving (but still forward through Music and the Mirror because I hate that dumb song!)
  • I love maps… the Rand McNally store was my Mecca.  Give me a Thomas Guide, Atlas or globe and I can be occupied for hours.  I should have been a cartographer!

I love Spinach Artichoke Dip.

You forgot to say you love Eggroll King and your gross soup that looks like Diahrea LOL I will never forget that one becky!!!!!!! I miss those days.

I’ll always remember that day you met andrew, you came home with him, and you woke me up and said…”he’s the one!”

I remember watching A Chorus Line when I was a kid and thinking that I was really getting away with something because of the T & A song. Sadly, that’s the only song I remember…maybe I should watch it again.

Nothing quite points out our mortality than something discontinued that we love! (Mine was Diet Tropicana Orange soft drinks). I ebayed orchid candle but didn’t see any that necessarily were from Pottery Barn. Might be worth a shot, though! (I found you through my wife’s blog).

Allison - I felt the same way about the T&A song, but don’t forget the ‘Shit Richie’ part of Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen. AND, my mom’s record (yes, remember those?) for some reason skipped on the part on Nothing where she yells ‘Jesus Christ’. Forever in my mind when I hear that song, I expect it to ’skip’. LOL

Matt - I too have checked on Ebay for my candle. :( Sad, isn’t it?

# 4 can sing but share the same fear

#10-envious. Always wanted to do that

Like the blog!

Scrapbook Depot in Los Alamitos is one of my favorite places :-) I should own stock.

Lisa - Don’t get me started on Scrapbook Depot. I had to ban myself from there! :)
